Benjamin Belcher

Benjamin was born in 1749 in Virginia. Benjamin's father was RICHARD D. Belcher and his mother was MARY Obedience Clay. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Belcher and MARY Elizabeth Frogley; his maternal grandparents were HENRY Clay and MARY Mitchell. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Isham E., Richard Jr., Thomas, Robert, William, Henry, Jesse, Anne, Phoebe and ELIZABETH Anne. He is the third youngest of the eleven children.
