Richard Jr. Belcher

Richard Jr. was born about 1734 in Chesterfield Co., Virginia.¹ Richard Jr.'s father was RICHARD D. Belcher and his mother was MARY Obedience Clay. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Belcher and MARY Elizabeth Frogley; his maternal grandparents were HENRY Clay and MARY Mitchell. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Isham E., Thomas, Robert, William, Benjamin, Henry, Jesse, Anne, Phoebe and ELIZABETH Anne. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1814.¹
