William PHILLIPS 
William was born on April 26th, 1823. William's father was David PHILLIPS and his mother was Mary (Polly) WATERS. His paternal grandparents were John PHILLIPS and Mary UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Levi Durham, Wilson Shelah, Benjamin Franklin, James, David Jr, Nancy, Sarah Ann and Mary Elizabeth Jane. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 68 on May 12th, 1891.-

‌William and Hestor Anne were married in a religious ceremony on February 23rd, 1853. They had three sons and six daughters, named Overton W, Guilford M, Judson David, Mary Arline, Octavia Frances, Ettie Emma, Nancy Belle, Mattie and Sarah Ellen.
