Ettie Emma was born on June 24th, 1864. Ettie Emma's father was William PHILLIPS and her mother was Hestor Anne TAYLOR. Her paternal grandparents were David PHILLIPS and Mary (Polly) WATERS. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Overton W, Guilford M, Judson David, Mary Arline, Octavia Frances, Nancy Belle, Mattie and Sarah Ellen. She is the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
