Sarah Ellen was born on July 10th, 1873. Sarah Ellen's father was William PHILLIPS and her mother was Hestor Anne TAYLOR. Her paternal grandparents were David PHILLIPS and Mary (Polly) WATERS. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Overton W, Guilford M, Judson David, Mary Arline, Octavia Frances, Ettie Emma, Nancy Belle and Mattie. She is the youngest of the nine children.-
