Mary Ann Booker Jenkins 
Mary Ann Booker was born on January 21st, 1833 in Appomattox VA.1 Mary Ann Booker's father was Thomas Robert Jenkins and her mother was Martha Booker Fore. Her paternal grandfather was Obadiah Jenkins and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Young; her maternal grandfather was James Fore and her maternal grandmother is Sarah Elizabeth HURT. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Hurt, John Reuben, Robert Thomas, Joseph Scott, Lafayette Rosser, George Washington, Sarah Ellen, Catherine Barnett, Martha Susan, Pauline Annette and America Virginia. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 69 on July 28th, 1902.1 General Notes

The 1880 Kanawha County census shows 2 nephews living in the household ofMary Ann and Richard Henry Lee. They are Sherman Lawrence 14 yrs old anda Frank Lawrence 4yrs old. I am not able to prove but the 2 children ofRichard Lee and Mary Jenkins both died in their early childhood but whenand where is as of now unkown.
