These causes this day heard to be and further heard together by consentthe proper formerly read the recommendations to be read -since filed andargued by counsel an conden whereof and it appears that Thomas R.Marshall executi@@e of Daniel A Anderson deceased and Samuel D. Mc Dumanhave respectively filed this petition setting forth debts held by themagainst the estate of Obadiah Jenkins deed. and preparing to be admitted.... plaintiffs
It goes on about the amounts to be paid to them coming from the sale ofthe land and the debts they would owe the court act. as a result..

Looks as if Henry Y. Jenkins, probably the eldest son, was the executorof Obadiah's will along  Sarah his wife and had to paid the debts owedupon his fathers death. The merchants probably heard that the land wasgoing to be sold and sued insuring that the debts would be paid. Would beinteresting to And Obadiah's actual vall. Doesn't mention Sarah's maidenname. Will try and go through J. Thomas's will later looks tobe easierreading....

There is also a WYATT Jenkins in Pittssylvania Co Va who possibly isrelated but not sure
There is Wyatt Jenkins in Benton Co Tn in the 1850 census who shows as ason of Obadiah Jenkins

We know that Obadiah and his brother Littleberry married sisters,daughters of Henry and Elizabeth Young.
