Looks as if Henry Y. Jenkins, probably the eldest son, was the executorof Obadiah's will along Sarah his wife and had to paid the debts owedupon his fathers death. The merchants probably heard that the land wasgoing to be sold and sued insuring that the debts would be paid. Would beinteresting to And Obadiah's actual vall. Doesn't mention Sarah's maidenname. Will try and go through J. Thomas's will later looks tobe easierreading....
