John M. Jenkins 
John M.'s father was Obadiah Jenkins and his mother is Sarah Young. His paternal grandfather is Unknown Jenkins; his maternal grandfather was Henry Young and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Unknown. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Henry Young, Obediah C., James, William M., Thomas Robert, Daniel Y., Creed T., Joel, Richard J., Elizabeth M., Ann, Frances, Martha and Mary.
John M. and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on December 15th, 1825.1
