Barbara Hoover 
Barbara was born on November 14th, 1814 in Bedford, Bedford Co., PA. Barbara's father was Frederick Hoover and her mother was Catharine BRUMBAUGH. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Adam HUBER and Catherine Kramer. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Samuel, Frederick, Jacob, Susanna\Susannah, Nancy Ann, Mary, Catharine, Elizabeth, Christina and Margaret. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.-
