Samuel Hoover 
Samuel was born on July 15th, 1812 in Bedford, Bedford Co., PA. Samuel's father was Frederick Hoover and his mother was Catharine BRUMBAUGH. His paternal grandparents were Johann Adam HUBER and Catherine Kramer. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Frederick, Jacob, Susanna\Susannah, Nancy Ann, Mary, Catharine, Barbara, Elizabeth, Christina and Margaret. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.-
