Margaret was born in 1840 in Henry Co., IN. Margaret's father is Abraham Abbott and her mother was Barbara Hoover. Her maternal grandparents were Frederick Hoover and Catharine BRUMBAUGH. She had a brother and six sisters, named Samuel, Catherine, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary, Susan Ann and Rachael. She is the second oldest of the eight children.-
