Mary C. Butler 
Mary C. was born in 1806 in North Carolina. Mary C.'s father was Thomas "Elias" Butler and her mother was Sarah Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher John Butler and Mary Catherine Martin. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Rueben, John Franklin, Neely, Joshua Daniel, Elias F, James Martin, Elizabeth, Judith, Sarah and Judah. She is the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She had five half-brothers named Rueben, John, James M, Elias H and Johnatan Nealy.-
