Elizabeth Butler 
Elizabeth was born in 1790 in North Carolina. Elizabeth's father was Thomas "Elias" Butler and her mother was Sarah Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher John Butler and Mary Catherine Martin. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Rueben, John Franklin, Neely, Joshua Daniel, Elias F, James Martin, Judith, Sarah, Mary C. and Judah. She is the second oldest of the eleven children. She had five half-brothers named Rueben, John, James M, Elias H and Johnatan Nealy.-
