Ada was born about 1198 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.1 Ada's father was David Canmore I Earl of Huntingdon and her mother was Mabel De Meschines. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Prince Of Scotland and Ada De Warren; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De Meschines and Bertrade Montfort. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Scot Earl of, Robert Scot of, Isabel Scot of and Margaret. She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Henry Le Scot, Cicely, Maud, Isabella Isabel and Nicole. She died about 1265.1 General Notes
