Margaret was born about 1194 in Of, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.1   Margaret's father was David Canmore I Earl of Huntingdon and her mother was Mabel De Meschines.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Prince Of Scotland and Ada De Warren; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De Meschines and Bertrade Montfort. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Scot Earl of, Robert Scot of, Isabel Scot of and Ada.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Henry Le Scot, Cicely, Maud, Isabella Isabel and Nicole.


Margaret's family with Alan De Galloway

‌Margaret and Alan were married in a religious ceremony about 1205 in Of, Carrick, Ayrshire, Scotland.1   They had two daughters named Helen Of and Dervorgilla.
