Sarah Hicks 
Sarah was born about 1674.1 Sarah's father was Thomas Hicks and her mother was Mary Butler. Her paternal grandparents were John Hicks and Herodotus Long; her maternal grandparents were Richard Butler and Elizabeth Biglow. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Jacob, Mary, Phebe and Elizabeth. She had eleven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Isaac, Benjamin, Benjamin, William, William, Charles, Stephen, Stephen, John, Thomas, Jacob Butler, Charity, Charity and Mary. Sarah is on the list of the children of Thomas Hicks and Mary Butler as given in her mother's Ct Probate Record as a daughter and "legaty". Further she signed in recognition of her receipt of her share of her mother's lands on Mar 11, 1712/13, and signed as "Sarah Rushlar, her mark" (Stratford, Ct Land Records, Vol 2, p 111). According to Seversmith, her first husband was Thomas Rushmore.
Apparently she married second, three months later, on June 10, 1713 Richard Everett.
Sarah is not mentioned in her father's will, written in 1727, so presumably she died prior to that date. The grandaughter Sarah Everett mentioned in that will of her grandfather, Thomas Hicks, was no doubt the daughter by her second husband and inherited the share of her deceased mother.
