Sarah Dewitt 
Sarah was born about 1708 in Tarrytown, Westchester, New York.1 Sarah's father was Barent Dewitt and her mother was Sarah Van Tassel. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Barentsen Dewitt and Tryntje Dutcher; her maternal grandparents were Jan Cornelius Van Tassel and Annetje Alberts Koning (or Terhume). She had five brothers and a sister, named Andries "Ary", Peter, Paulus, Barent, Titus and Catherine. She was the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
