David W. Barnhill 
David W. was born in 1882 in Edgecombe Co. NC. David W.'s father was John R. Barnhill and his mother was Florence Anna Hargrove. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel E Barnhill and Caroline Arcenie Cooper; his maternal grandparents were Duncan Hargrove and Sally Land. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edgar J., Lyculus "Lucius", Logan Jasper, Walter, Lulu, Caroline Virginia and Carrie D.. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 84 on September 4th, 1966.-
