Carrie D. Barnhill 
Carrie D. was born in 1884 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Carrie D.'s father was John R. Barnhill and her mother was Florence Anna Hargrove. Her paternal grandparents were Lemuel E Barnhill and Caroline Arcenie Cooper; her maternal grandparents were Duncan Hargrove and Sally Land. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Edgar J., Lyculus "Lucius", Logan Jasper, Walter, David W., Lulu and Caroline Virginia. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 in April 1964.-
