Margaret STEWART

Margaret was born about 1466. Margaret's father was John of Atholl Stewart and her mother was Eleanor Sinclair [CountessofAthol. Her paternal grandparents were James (Sir) (Black Knight of Lorn) Stewart and Joan de Beaufort Queen of Scotland; her maternal grandparents were William Sinclair [Earl of Orkney] and Marjory SUTHERLAND. She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Andrew, Anne Or Elizabeth, Christian, Margaret, Jean, Elizabeth and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Janet (Jean).
