Beatrix was born in 1145 in Of,Hoch-Hourgogne,France.  Beatrix's father was Renaud III Count of Burgundy and her mother was Agatha of Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were Etienne I "Tete-Hardi De Macon (Count Of Burgundy) and Beatrice Lorraine [Princess]; her maternal grandparents were Simon I , Duke of Lorraine and Adelheid de Louvain.  She was an only child.


Beatrix's family with Frederick I "Barbarossa" Holy Roman Empire

‌Beatrix and Frederick I "Barbarossa" were married in a religious ceremony on June 16th, 1156 in <Schwaben,Bavaria>.  They had six sons and two daughters, named Friedrich V, Heinrich VI Emperor of the, Otto, Konrad II, Philip II Of, Philip, Beatrix Of and Agnes.
