Sarah Ann Elizabeth Weathersbee 
Sarah Ann Elizabeth was born on January 9th, 1860 in MS.1 Sarah Ann Elizabeth's father was Charles Oliver Weathersbee and her mother was Minerva Rachel McEwen. Her paternal grandfather was Gideon Weathersbee; her maternal grandparents were Jasper Kirkham McEwen and Mary Ann Canada. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James Stephen, Charles Jefferson, George W., Robert Luther, William L., Laura Alis, Emma Francis Winnifernd and Mary Ida. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 83 on May 31st, 1943 in Dallas, Dallas Co., TX. She was buried in Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro, TX Lot 17, Block 37.1 1 General Notes

After her husband died, Sarah Allison moved around from child to child,
living with each of them for six months to a year. Marjorie Massey,
Charles Allison, and Sybil Cooper all agree that they remember her as
being sort of disagreeable and very critical, and that family members
dreaded their turn of having her live with them. It is possible that
this was because she was old at the time.
Marjorie says that she had a big potted oleander which had to be
moved with her each time. It was one possession she could not give up.
She had a habit if saying "I'll say it!", or something like that,
whenever you told her something.
We have a photograph of her with her sisters. Hopefully, Charles
Allison and Sybil Cooper will be able to tell us which sister is which in
the photo.
