Willie Rayford was born on March 18th, 1910 in AL.1 Willie Rayford's father was Grover Cleveland Rushing and his mother was Leila Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Stephen McDonald Rushing and Martha Sylvester Edwards. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Grover McDonald, Jacob Herman, James Ezra, Homer Eugene, Calvin Cleveland, Living, Bertie Bea, Bertha Mae and Nellie Voncile.
