"Rushing, Calvin C. age 76, resident of Montgomery, died Friday, December
8, 2000 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, December
11, 2000 at 3 pm at Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Tim Meadows
officiating. Burial will follow in Greewood Cemetery. He was a member
of Asbury Methodist Church, and a member of the American Legion and
AARP. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Rushing. He is
survived by his wife, Maebel G. Rushing; son Donald C. Rushing and wife
Deborah of Montgomery, AL; son Michael K. Rushing of Montgomery, AL; one
brother Sidney Rushing of Troy and Voncile Green of Columbus, GA; three
grandchildren, Donald Ryan Rushing and wife Aimme, Alex Lawson Rushing,
and Wesley Michael Rushing, all of Montgomery, AL." (1)
