Eva Ailene was born on March 3rd, 1890 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Eva Ailene's father was John Wesley Morgan and her mother was Mattie Lois Pierce. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Harton Morgan and Frances Jane Spradley. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Manley L., Charles Frank, Harley T., Sr., Charley E., David Dudley R., C. Taken from the Beaumont Texas paper. The bride, Eva Ailene Morgan and
groom, Adam Cromwell arrived on the night train from Alabama last night
and their marriage will be a surprise to their friends in Alabama. They
will make their home in Deweyville, Texas for which place they will leave
this morning. They left last Saturday night, taking a south bound train
at Greenville Alabama for New Orleans, thence to Beaumont, Texas where
they were married. Eloped-she was 15 years old.
