Charles Kirkham McEwen 
Charles Kirkham was born on April 14th, 1895 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Charles Kirkham's father was Jepe Kirkham McEwen and his mother was Malissa Jane Bazemore. His paternal grandparents were Francis Marion McEwen and Lena Olive Ransome Melton; his maternal grandparents were William Thomas Jefferson, Jr. Bazemore and Eliza Ann Veasey. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Marion Jack, Carl William, Sadie Lee, Ettie Pricilla, Robbie Oresta, Annie Olive, Lilla M. and Edna Gertrude. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on October 15th, 1975 in Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL.1 General Notes
