Mary Della was born on January 24th, 1873 in Alexandria, Calhoun Co., AL.1 Mary Della's father was John Wofford Ford and her mother was Jeffalonia Spradley. Her maternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Isaac Mellard, Michael Bishop, Thomas Cameron, Perry Napoleon, Sophia Elizabeth, Josie Ellen, Anna Wofford, Emma Amelia and Ida Elaine. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 45 on September 9th, 1918 in AL.1 -
