Emma Amelia was born on October 8th, 1887 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Emma Amelia's father was John Wofford Ford and her mother was Jeffalonia Spradley. Her maternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Isaac Mellard, Michael Bishop, Thomas Cameron, Perry Napoleon, Sophia Elizabeth, Mary Della, Josie Ellen, Anna Wofford and Ida Elaine. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 85 on July 7th, 1973 in Gadsden, AL.1 -
