Anna Wofford was born in 1880 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Anna Wofford's father was John Wofford Ford and her mother was Jeffalonia Spradley. Her maternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Isaac Mellard, Michael Bishop, Thomas Cameron, Perry Napoleon, Sophia Elizabeth, Mary Della, Josie Ellen, Emma Amelia and Ida Elaine. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 84 in 1964 in AL. She was buried in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, seven miles north of Ashville, St. Clair Co., AL on HWY 411..1 1 -
