Margaret Amanda was born on May 19th, 1876 in Henderson Co., TX.1 Margaret Amanda's father was James Anderson Monroe Davis and her mother was Malissa Jane Castellaw. Her paternal grandparents were John V. Davis and Julia Parker Knight; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Castellaw and Mary Louisa Jordan. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John Victor, Felix Monroe, Sidney, Polly Jennette, Eliza Victoria, Mary Lou, Julia Parker, Lucy Carrie and Edna. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 on July 16th, 1953 in TX.1 -
