Lucy Carrie was born on March 4th, 1874 in Henderson Co., TX.1 Lucy Carrie's father was James Anderson Monroe Davis and her mother was Malissa Jane Castellaw. Her paternal grandparents were John V. Davis and Julia Parker Knight; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Castellaw and Mary Louisa Jordan. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John Victor, Felix Monroe, Sidney, Polly Jennette, Eliza Victoria, Mary Lou, Julia Parker, Margaret Amanda and Edna. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 57 on September 6th, 1931 in ?.1 -
