Leonard was born on December 24th, 1806 in GA.1 Leonard's father was Wiley W. Buckner and his mother was Judith Tapley Handley. His paternal grandparents were John H. Buckner and Mary M. Brown. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Micajah W., Tapley M., Edwin H., James Madison, Elizabeth, Delilah, Tabitha Jane, Catherine S. J., Martha and Mary B.. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died in ?.1 -
