Isabel De was born about 1172 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  Isabel De's father was [2Nd Earl Pembroke] Richard "Strongbow" Fitzgilbert Richard Strongbow Earl Of Pembroke [2Nd Earl Pembroke]/Clare and her mother was [Countess Of Ireland Eve (Aoife) Macmurrough [Countess Of Ireland.  Her paternal grandparents were 1st Earl Of Pembroke Gilbert "Strongbow" De Gilbert De Clare Earl Of 1st Earl Of Pembroke/Clare and Isabel (Elizabeth) De Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Diarmait Macmurchada King Of Diarmait Macdonn Macmurchada King Of King Of Leinster/Dermot and Mor Ingen Muirchertaig O'toole. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gilbert De, Joan De and Alina De.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died in 1220 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  She was buried in Tintern Abbey, Chapel Hill, Monmouthsire, England.

‌Isabel De and William "The Protector" were married in a religious ceremony in August 1189 in London, Middlesex, England.  They had five sons and five daughters, named Gilbert VII Earl Of Pembroke, William, Richard, Anselm, Walter, Sybil, Maud, Eve, Isabel and Joane.
