Gilbert VII Earl Of Pembroke was born about 1196 in Pembroke, Pembroke, Wale and his baptism took place in 1203 in St. David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  Gilbert VII Earl Of Pembroke's father was 3rd Earl Of Pembroke William "The Protector" Marshall 3rd Earl Of Pembroke and his mother was [Countess Of Pembroke Isabel De Clare [Countess Of Pembroke.  His paternal grandparents were John "The Marshall" Fitzgilbert and Sibilla (Sibyl) De Salisbury; his maternal grandparents were [2Nd Earl Pembroke] Richard "Strongbow" Fitzgilbert Richard Strongbow Earl Of Pembroke [2Nd Earl Pembroke]/Clare and [Countess Of Ireland Eve (Aoife) Macmurrough [Countess Of Ireland. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Richard, Anselm, Walter, Sybil, Maud, Eve, Isabel and Joane.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died on June 27th, 1241 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.  He was buried in Temple Church, London, Middlesex, England.
