William Murchison 
William was born in 1792 in Moore County, NC. William's father was Kinnith Murchison and his mother was Catherine McIver. His paternal grandfather was William Murchison; his maternal grandparents were Roderick McIver and Nancy McKay. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Duncan , John, Roderick , Kenneth B., Colin, Donald, Margaret, Isabel, Jennet, Mary and Nancy. He died after April 7th, 1853.-
