Jennet was born in 1787 in Moore County, NC. Jennet's father was Kinnith Murchison and her mother was Catherine McIver. Her paternal grandfather was William Murchison; her maternal grandparents were Roderick McIver and Nancy McKay. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Duncan , John, Roderick , William, Kenneth B., Colin, Donald, Margaret, Isabel, Mary and Nancy. She died at the age of 33 on April 27th, 1820 in Moore County.General Notes
