James G Buchanan 
James G was born on February 12th, 1838.1 James G's father was Isaac Buchanan and his mother was Naomi Crawford. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Buchanan and Jane Neeley; his maternal grandparents were John Crawford and Margaret Buchanan. He had six brothers and a sister, named Andrew Hay, Alfred E, William H, Pleasant W, John Thomas, Cyrus and Cyrene Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 26 on February 21st, 1864 in Cane Hill, Washington, Arkansas.1 General Notes
