Sarah Skeen 
Sarah was born on March 2nd, 1779 in Rowan County, North Carolina.1 Sarah's father was Matthew Skeen and her mother was Ruth Lamar. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, James, Matthew, Verlinda, Jane, Tabitha and Rutha. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 73 on September 17th, 1852 in Washington County, Indiana. She was buried in Mead Cemetery, Bunker Hill, Washington County, Indiana.General Notes
