Judge Hancock 
Judge was born about 1811 in Jackson County, Georgia. Judge's father was John Hancock and his mother was Jane Skeen. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hancock and Mildred Dawson; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Skeen and Ruth Lamar. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Mathew, John, Martin, Benjamin, Jane, Sarah and Kathy. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died in 1885 in Harrison County, Indiana.-
