Benjamin Hancock 
Benjamin was born on October 12th, 1806 in Jackson County, Georgia. Benjamin's father was John Hancock and his mother was Jane Skeen. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hancock and Mildred Dawson; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Skeen and Ruth Lamar. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Mathew, John, Martin, Judge, Jane, Sarah and Kathy. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 on May 22nd, 1890 in Harrison County, Indiana.-
