Mary T. was born on March 2nd, 1893 in Trimble County, Kentucky.1 Mary T.'s father was Benjamin Franklin Butler and her mother was Lillian Clara "Lilly" Trout. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Forest Butler and Nancy Jane Pendleton; her maternal grandparents were William Francis Trout and Ruhama Brook Cooper. She had two sisters named Allie and Laura Brook. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William , George W. and Bulah B.. She died at the age of 100 in July 1993 in Visalia, Tulare County, California.2 General Notes
