William Butler 
William was born on October 15th, 1896 in Trimble County, Kentucky. William 's father was Benjamin Franklin Butler and his mother was Mary Brook Trout. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Forest Butler and Nancy Jane Pendleton; his maternal grandparents were William Francis Trout and Ruhama Brook Cooper. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named George W., Allie, Mary T., Laura Brook and Bulah B.. He died at the age of 77 on January 5th, 1974 in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana. He was buried in Moffett Cemetery, Trimble County, Kentucky.1 General Notes

BUTLER, William F., 77, Madison, Indiana, died 5 Jan 1974, was buried in Moffett Cemetery. A World War I veteran, moved to Jefferson County, Indiana in 1928, is survived by his wife, Hallie Dunaway Butler, daughter Mrs. Bula Renne, sons Buford and Bill Butler, 3 half-sisters, Mrs. Robert Kipping, Mrs. Alice Martin and Mrs. Mary Asher.
