Lillian Clara "Lilly" was born on July 30th, 1869 in Trimble County, Kentucky. Lillian Clara "Lilly"'s father was William Francis Trout and her mother was Ruhama Brook Cooper. She had two sisters named Martha Cooper "Mattie" and Daisy June. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 25 on October 15th, 1894 in Trimble County, Kentucky.1 General Notes

Ben and Lilly Trout Butler were married 18 Oct 1888, Ben was twenty-seven and Lilly was nineteen. They lived on a farm near Milton, Trimble County, Kentucky. Lilly and Ben's children were Allie (b. 16 August 1890), Mary (b. 2 March 1893), and Laura Brook. Baby Laura was born 19 July 1894 and lived only a few weeks. She died 9 August 1894. Her mother, Lilly, died on 15 October 1894, a few months after having given birth to Laura Brook. Lilly is buried at Moffett Cemetery, Trimble County, Kentucky.
