Mary Frances Butler 
Mary Frances was born on March 21st, 1840 in Trimble County, Kentucky. Mary Frances' father was John Ferguson Butler and her mother was Frances Jane Farley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Farley Butler and Nancy Walden; her maternal grandparents were Forest Farley and Frances Ellington. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named William , Joseph Forest, John Breckinridge, Mary Elizabeth, Martha Reeves, Nancy Ann, Eunitia Ann, Elizabeth Wright, Sophia White, Ella Edwina and Edmonia Isabel. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died in Trimble County, Kentucky.General Notes
In October of 1859, Nora B. was born to Mary Frances and Thomas McMahan. In late 1860 or 1861, Mary Frances died. Thomas remarried in 1862.
