John Breckinridge Butler 
John Breckinridge was born on September 8th, 1856 in Trimble County, Kentucky. John Breckinridge's father was John Ferguson Butler and his mother was Frances Jane Farley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Farley Butler and Nancy Walden; his maternal grandparents were Forest Farley and Frances Ellington. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named William , Joseph Forest, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Frances, Martha Reeves, Nancy Ann, Eunitia Ann, Elizabeth Wright, Sophia White, Ella Edwina and Edmonia Isabel. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.General Notes

"John Breckinridge, named after the Kentucky statesman who was elected Vice-President in 1856, is listed on the 1880 Missouri Census records living in the same household as his sister Elizabeth and her husband William Garriott. He doesn't appear on the rolls of 1890 with them."
