Etiene "Tete-hardi" was born about 1071.1 Etiene "Tete-hardi"'s father was Guillaume I "le Grand" Ct of Burgundy and his mother was Etienette de Longwy. His paternal grandparents were Renaud I Ct of Burgundy and Alisia (Adelaide\Judith) de Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Raimund Berenger II the Elder Ct of Carcassone and Almode de la Haute Marche. He had a brother and two sisters, named Raimund de Burgundy, Ermentrude (Ermenson) and Sibylle. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Gisele. He died on May 27th, 1102 in Askaoln.1 General Notes
