Raimund de Burgundy was born in 1065 in Bourgogne, Burgundy, France.1 Raimund de Burgundy's father was Guillaume I "le Grand" Ct of Burgundy and his mother was Etienette de Longwy. His paternal grandparents were Renaud I Ct of Burgundy and Alisia (Adelaide\Judith) de Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Raimund Berenger II the Elder Ct of Carcassone and Almode de la Haute Marche. He had a brother and two sisters, named Etiene "Tete-hardi", Ermentrude (Ermenson) and Sibylle. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Gisele. He died at the age of 42 on May 24th, 1107 in Grajal, France or León, Spain.1 General Notes
