Robert de Clifford Lord Clifford of Appleby 
Robert de Clifford was born on April 1st, 1274 in Clifford Castle, Hertfordshire, England.1 Robert de Clifford's father was Roger de Clifford and his mother was Isabel de Vipont. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Clifford II Lord Clifford and Loretta de Loretto; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Viteri-Ponti and Isabel FitzGeoffrey. He was an only child. He died at the age of 40 on June 25th, 1314 in Battle of Bannockburn, Scotland.1 General Notes
