Remmy Benton

Remmy was born in 1835.¹   Remmy's father was John Benton and her mother was Rebecca Sauls. She had a brother and a sister, named James Oliver and Susan Ann. She had eight half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Joseph C., William Sylvester, Edward H., Child, Benjamin Gaines, Henry Richard, Mack Doran, Berry Garris, Martha, Arthie, Vinnie, Jane and Mary.¹
