Mack Doran Benton

Mack Doran was born in 1842 in Colleton County, SC.¹   Mack Doran's father was John Benton and his mother was Miss DeWitt. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin Gaines, Henry Richard, Berry Garris, Jane and Mary. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Joseph C., William Sylvester, Edward H., Child, James Oliver, Martha, Arthie, Vinnie, Remmy and Susan Ann.  He died in VA.¹
